Herschend Offers Support to Child Sex Offender

It's a tale as old as time, and if you know anything about the Ozarks region of Missouri you already know that the area is the backdrop of some very unsettling stories - Such as the missing Springfield Three. There's also the horrifying death of Cassidy Rainwater, a story with more twists and turns than a west coast highway. And then there are stories that never seem to really see the light of justice, such as the geezer who was caught with more than 100,000 pornographic images of children, an old shitstain by the name of William M. Walker.

Walker, who was 75 years old in 2018, was said to be a"respected member of the Branson community." Shitstain Walker was found to possess roughly 174.000 photos and 4,800 videos of children being sexually abused. The Shithead had downloaded the materials over the course of a month in 2016. Police authorities were left in equal states of disgust and anger by their findings. Walker was charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography.

But Walker had affluent local collections, including Pete Herschend. Don't recognize the name? Does Silver Dollar City ring a bell? Good Ole Petey Herschend was a co-founder of the Herschend Family Entertainment brand, which owns and operates Silver Dollar City and other amusement parks. Walker also hired Springfield attorney, the Deplorable  Dee Wampler, known locally for getting his clients a mere slap on the wrist  for serious crimes - if they get punished at all.

Herschend was called as a character witness at Walker's trial. Herschend stated  that Walker had "changed" since his arrest and now "exuded qualities of the Boy Scout Law: being brave, trustworthy, and revanent." Pastor Smart, at the time affiliated with James River Church, was also called as a character witness. Pastor Dumbass went on to testify that Walker had "received treatment through James River Church." Since when the fuck is a church licensed to treat sex offenders?

Federal prosecutors requested a minimum 10 year prison sentence. Walker's attorney, Deplorable Dee, asked federal Judge Doug Harpool, to consider Walker's "age, past good deeds, an military service" into account when making his judgment. The Deplorable One said that sending the aging Walker to prison would be a "death sentence." News Flash: Walker was sentenced in 2018 and is still alive. Judge Harpool sentenced Walker to five years in prison to be served at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield.  Following his prison term, Walker would be required to serve 10 years probation and would have to register on the sex offender registry.

William Murrey Walker was released from prison in 2022. He is currently listed on the Missouri sex offender registry as a Tier 2 offender, meaning the wannabe kiddie diddler can petition to be removed from the SOR following 25 years of no violations.

A court might have forgiven ya Willie, but I can think of  178,800 reasons that the public at large never will.
